About The Role:
As a CBRE VAS Property Tax Consultant, you will meet the property tax needs of CBRE's clients assigned including appeals and estimates.
What You'll Do:
Act as the primary client interface for daily operations.
Communicate with taxing authorities related to appeals. Attend property tax valuation hearings as appropriate.
Properly communicate with client regarding appeal recommendations.
Review properties assigned to evaluate whether the property assessment value should be appealed.
Prepare and complete property valuation appeals. Develop new ways in which to more efficiently review and appeal property values.
Support the preparation of billing.
Develop ideas targeting areas for new revenue.
Maintain proper state property tax agent licensing.
Mentor team members as needed to support clients' needs.

Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 4 years of client-facing property tax assessment and overall knowledge of property valuation procedures and related regulations.
State certificate/license as required by state licensing body.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures and forecast/prepare budgets. Conduct financial and business analysis.
Advanced analytical and quantitative skills with ability to solve problems including several options in situations.
