Position Summary

The Tourism Marketing Consultant is a part-time remote contract role that requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in tourism marketing. This position presents unique challenges, including navigating a competitive landscape and adapting marketing strategies to attract diverse audiences. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing brand visibility and driving engagement, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of the organization in the tourism sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies that resonate with target demographics and maximize outreach.
  • Conduct market research and analyze tourism trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Create compelling content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and newsletters, to promote tourism initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align marketing efforts with organizational goals and ensure cohesive messaging.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in tourism marketing or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a marketing role.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques, including SEO, PPC, and social media advertising.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
