Job Description

Our client is a leading technical professional services organization specializing in mid-market ERP solutions and expertise across finance, accounting, operations, workforce management, and customer experience. The company serves as a trusted advisor to small and mid-sized companies in a variety of industries across the US.

They are an authorized 5-star NetSuite partner and have extensive experience in ERP and Cloud Computing, including installs, migrations, upgrades, conversions, customizations, support, and training. Currently, their NetSuite practice is looking to hire a senior NetSuite functional Consultant to take on a lead role on client implementations. This position is fully remote in the US and will involve up to 25% travel.

The Role You’ll Play

As a senior consultant in the NetSuite practice, you will have the opportunity to architect and deliver complex ERP solutions for clients across various industries, with a focus on the Financial Services, Professional Services, and Wholesale Distribution sectors. The position combines technical expertise with business process consulting to help organizations optimize their NetSuite environments.

  • Lead end-to-end NetSuite implementations, from requirements gathering through deployment and support

  • Architect NetSuite solutions to accommodate clients' current operations and future growth

  • Manage and mentor junior consultants while executing project deliverables

  • Design and implement innovative solutions for complex business workflows

  • Customize NetSuite environments including forms, fields, dashboards, and saved searches

  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients

  • Document client requirements and interactions in CRM systems

  • Participate in knowledge sharing and mentoring activities within the consulting team

Background Profile:

Professional services background with 4 years experience as a NetSuite Implementation Consultant, with demonstrated success in leading at least 10 full-cycle implementations from requirements through deployment and support.

  • Comprehensive understanding of core business processes including accounting cycles, professional services automation, quote to cash, procure to pay, record to report, warehouse operations, manufacturing processes, and CRM functions.

  • Strong project management and methodology background, with proven experience leading implementation teams and managing complex project timelines while maintaining high quality standards.

  • Advanced expertise in NetSuite configuration and customization, including form design, custom fields, dashboard creation, saved searches, and workflow implementation across multiple modules.

  • Demonstrated excellence in client-facing roles, including leading workshops, gathering requirements, providing training, and managing ongoing support in both remote and on-site environments.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent business discipline, combined with strong analytical, problem-solving, and Microsoft Office skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current NetSuite Certifications with specialized focus in key functional areas such as ERP, WMS, and Field Service modules.

  • Professional Services industry background with proven experience developing solutions for complex business challenges using NetSuite and related technologies.

  • Technical capabilities including basic understanding of SuiteScript, workflow automation, and integration methodologies commonly used in NetSuite implementations.

  • Experience architecting solutions in Manufacturing and Wholesale Distribution environments, with particular emphasis on warehouse management and field service operations.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in mentoring junior consultants and contributing to the growth of a consulting practice through knowledge sharing and best practice development.
