Position: Salesforce Developer/Administrator

Location: Tallahassee- FL

Duration: 6 Months

PRIMARY WORK

  • Salesforce Developer/Administrator in support of the Department's Enterprise Grants System. Education
  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other Information Technology major, or equivalent work experience.

REQUIRED TASKS TO BE PERFORMED

  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks.
  • Review and adjust system settings for proper visibility and security.
  • Manage sandboxes.
  • Manage deployments using Gearset.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as user provisioning, page layouts, flows, maintenance or creation of custom objects, custom fields, validations, workflows, e-mail template, data-loads, etc.
  • Maintain an excellent quality standard for projects delivered to customers.
  • Support training to new and existing employees on how to use system functionality.
  • Assist in duplicate and dirty data management, as well as, cleaning up unused fields, reports, and dashboards.
  • Proactively gather feedback from users. Manage system changes without interruption to the user.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSAS)

Certified Salesforce Administrator

  • Has knowledge of Salesforce and object-oriented approaches in designing, coding, testing and debugging programs
  • Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration
  • Strong functional understanding of object-oriented databases and systems
  • Sound analytical skills with the ability to successfully troubleshoot and problem-solve
  • Ability to develop requirements for applications based on user input and needs.
  • Ability to learn quickly, contribute to a team effort and work on multiple, time-critical projects simultaneously
  • Logical, process-oriented thinker with a natural sense of urgency
  • Strong problem-solving, priority-setting, multi-tasking, analytical and collaboration skills
  • Ability to assist in the development of Lightning Web Components.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSAS)

  • Ability to perform backend data integration such as Web Services
  • Ability to implement Conga Composer Document Generation Solutions
  • Certification as a Salesforce Platform Developer
  • Proficient in SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce/APEX, Unit Test Development, JSON and XML
  • Development experience with Sales Cloud, as well as Community Cloud and SSO
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and business resources and translate business needs into effective technical specifications
  • Ability to conduct research into application development issues and products.
  • Ability to understand the needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to prepare reports, correspondence, guidelines, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to write technical, business, and plain language documents and/or emails, with great attention to detail in all written communications.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project leader.

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, BeaconGov provides reasonable range of compensation for this role.
