Job Title: Registered Nurse - NICU

Duration: 12 Weeks
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Hours Per Day: 12.00
Days Per Week: 3.00

Weekly Blended: $2468.00

Duties:

• The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.
• Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient’s needs.
• Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
• Initiates assessment based on the patient’s problems or needs, the physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions. Manages care of patients.
• Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
• Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
• Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skill: 1+ year of experience in related specialty.

Required Education: ASN.

Preferred Education: BSN.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• BLS - AHA.
• NRP (AHA Only).
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.

Languages: English(Speak, Read, Write)

Schedule Notes: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM Every Other Weekend Required. 1/per Season. No on Call. At least 2 years of (recent) NICU RN Required. Experience with stabilizing babies in L&D - Preferred. If Special Care Nursery is closed they will assist with the babies on the MB unit.
