Project Geologist (CEG)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Certified Engineering Geologist (CEG) to join our team, responsible for conducting geological assessments, managing soil and groundwater investigations, and evaluating seismic risks. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise to support various projects and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct geological assessments and investigations for various projects.
• Analyze soil and groundwater conditions and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Evaluate seismic risk and prepare reports for hazard assessments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate geological data into project designs.
• Utilize GIS and AutoCAD for subsurface mapping and data visualization.
• Assist in the management of project timelines and budgets while ensuring quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Certified Engineering Geologist (CEG) required.
• Experience in seismic risk assessment and soil investigations.
• Strong understanding of groundwater issues and management.
• Familiarity with geological principles and practices, with a focus on engineering geology.
• Proficiency in GIS and AutoCAD software is preferred.
• Experience in construction-related geology and hazard assessments is a plus.
