Overview of the Role:

As a Helicopter VFR Pilot, you will play a pivotal role in life-saving missions, swiftly transporting critical care to those in need in various challenging environments.   • Responsibilities:

    • Execute line pilot duties per General Operating Manual (GOM) standards.
    • Actively engage in community outreach and uphold company policies.
    • Collaborate with internal and external customers for safe, efficient, and courteous service.
    • Support the Safety Management System, Destination Zero, and other safety initiatives.
    • Assist with loading and unloading patients and equipment while following safety protocols.

 

  • Requirements:

    • Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings.
    • First Class Medical certificate.
    • 2,000 Total Hours, including:
      • 1,500 Hours in Helicopters
      • 1,000 Hours as PIC in Helicopters
      • 500 Hours in Turbine Helicopters
    • Minimum of:
      • 100 Hours Unaided Night Operations, or
      • 50 Hours Unaided and 100 Hours Night Vision Goggles (NVG)
    • Body weight of 235 pounds or less.
    • Strong communication and customer service skills.
    • Adherence to safety and operational guidelines.
    • Successful interview and management acceptance.
    • Ability to pass a physical exam, drug screening, and background check.
