Job Description

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Per Teachers’ CBA - $32.45/hr. Part-time – 32-40 weekend hours per month.

QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of a current, valid CDL-A license is required. Five years verifiable industry experience within the last ten years is required. Prior experience teaching and/or experience with training employees is desired.

REPORTS TO: Amie Abold, Coordinator for Adult Programs

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: 

• The Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation Adult Programs Department has an opening for a part-time, weekend CDL-A instructor. 
• The instructor will deliver pre-trip, road and range driving instruction. 
• Demonstration of highest levels of integrity and professionalism in all aspects, including appearance, demeanor, and attitude. 
• Ability to work in an observation/coaching style environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Using the curriculum provided by the school, provide training to adult students in the area of pre-trip, range and road training CDL training. 
• Training will be provided using the tractor trailer or dump truck, depending on the needs of the student. 
• Instructor will be responsible for documenting the training session and attendance.
